This page details an agreement between you and Online Discovery Ltd. the company
behind Discover-Dublin.info. Please read the following terms and conditions
carefully, they will assist you in understanding your responsibilities and rights
when using the services offered by this site.
Online Discovery Ltd., here after referred to as "Online Discovery", provides
these services to you, the customer, under the stipulation that you have read
and agree to abide by the terms and conditions set out below. If you do not
intend to abide by these terms and conditions then you are engaging in the use
of this site at your "own risk" and Online Discovery can not be held liable.
General Terms & Conditions
Online Discovery acts as a consolidator for hotel partners which supply services
to this site, your final contract is between you and the hotel. You are therefore
subject to their terms and conditions regarding cancellation policies. Online
Discovery strongly advises you to read their terms before proceeding with your
purchase. The cancellation policies are shown on the details page for a hotel.
When making a contract (i.e. a booking) with a hotel partner your credit card
details and other essential booking details will be passed on to that hotel.
By making a purchase with a credit card, you are consenting for us to pass on
such details. The credit card that you use in making any purchase must expressly
be your own or one which you are legally authorised to use.
Currency rates and costs related to foreign products are subject to fluctuation
and Online Discovery is not liable for the accuracy of rates at any particular
time.
All rates, unless clearly stated otherwise on the website (for example in case
of a package), are per room per night and include taxes.
Online Discovery will not deduct and money from your credit card. Your credit
card is used to reserve the room, payment follows during or after your stay
at the hotel. If you do not appear for your stay, and have not informed the
hotel within the terms of their cancellation policy e.g. 24 hours ahead, you
may be billed for one night.
If, after making a reservation, there are any changes in your details relating
to your purchase you are responsible for informing the Hotel and Online Discovery
within a reasonable amount of time, via email, telephone or via fax.
Complaints of any kind can only be accepted in writing within a period of one
month after original departure date of the reservation.
Personal and non-commercial use
This site is strictly for private, non-commercial use. You may not use this
site and subsequent content for any illegal purpose. In addition, you may not
reproduce, modify, publish, copy, distribute, transfer, display or sell any
information, software or services derived from this site, without the express
written permission of Online Discovery.
Liability Disclaimer
Online Discovery attempts to ensure the accuracy of information available on
this site at all times. However, Online Discovery do not assume or guarantee
that all information is up-to-date or fault free. Online Discovery will endeavour
to correct any errors or omissions as quickly as possible after being notified,
but can not accept liability for any errors or omissions. Furthermore, Online
Discovery reserve the right to amend any agreements made, if the original information
supplied by a hotel partner or affiliate partner was incorrect at the date of
publication.
Online Discovery does not take responsibility for goods and services offered
by us as consolidators for hotel partners or for any aspect of the external
relationship between you and that hotel partner. Online Discovery does not accept
liability for any loss, or damages incurred as a result of a purchase from this
site or use of this site. Online Discovery does not provide any warranty, express
or implied, on 'availability', quality or performance of products and services
provided on this site or on sites of affiliate partners using the Online Discovery
database and reservation system. Customers accept that in the event of being
asked to cancel a booking in order to rebook for whatever reason, hotel availability
may no longer be available or at the original price.
Although Online Discovery makes every effort to protect the site from infection
by viruses or anything else that may have destructive or damaging properties,
Online Discovery does not provide any warranty or guarantee.
Limit of liability
Online Discovery have also placed links to third parties e.g. travel insurance
companies, on this website. Whilst we take the utmost care to put only quality
links on this website, we have no control over the content of websites we link
to and you agree that you use these websites at your own risk. You agree that
we will not be held responsible for any loss or damage occurring as a result
of using these links and we accept no responsibility for their content or your
use of these web sites.
Modification of Terms
Online Discovery reserves the right to change, amend, add or delete any terms,
conditions and notices under which this site is offered. Any changes made will
be officially dated and shall therefore not effect any action or claim initiated
prior to the date of said changes.
Governing Laws
This agreement is subject to the governing laws of England. You hereby agree
to consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts in all disputes
arising from the use of this website.
Copyright Laws
The data, artwork, related programs, scripts and intellectual property are
the copyrighted property of Online Discovery. None of the contents included
on this site may be reproduced, sold, transferred, or modified without the express
advance written permission of Online Discovery.
